The MD 18 is a hydrostatic ride-on mower with an 83 cm steel cutting deck that offers both mulching and side discharge, easily selected from the driver’s seat using the Quick Shift control. Designed for a clean, professional finish, it performs well on slopes and in low-clearance areas such as beneath shrubs. A suspension seat enhances operator comfort, while the 656 cc twin-cylinder Briggs & Stratton Professional EXi INTEK engine delivers strong, reliable power. The single-blade deck features impact-resistant floating tips for consistent cutting in different grass conditions. Cutting height can be adjusted between 2.5 and 8 cm with a six-position lever, which also includes a transport setting that raises the deck and stops the blades for obstacle clearance. The deck belt tension adjusts automatically, the deck stays level for long-term precision, and blade engagement is controlled by an electric PTO button near the steering wheel.
